Friday Finds

Friday Finds copy

1. Eataly’s Nutella Bar is now open and ready for business. Read what its most important critics - teenagers - have to say.

2. Eater released a preview of this summer’s new cookbooks. I’m most intrigued by Fried & True (Clarkson Potter) by Lee Brian Schrager and Adeena Sussman. It doesn’t matter how many beans I eat, I will always love fried chicken.

3. Spoon University published an article on college drunk foods around the world and it’s pretty interesting. I’ll take Canada, please!

4. Unbeknownst to me until this week, chef Eddie Huang’s memoir, Fresh Off the Boat, has been picked up by ABC and turned into a light family sit-com to air this year. Watch the trailer here. I read the book and found his story inspiring but poorly packaged; it read like a first draft. I never imagined it as a comedy - and I guess that’s why I’m not a TV producer - but either way, good for him.

5. Gray Malin is a photographer who recently came to fame for his gorgeous bird’s eye view beach photographs, which I am totally obsessed with. I love the fun patterns and saturated colors. His prints are now on sale on One Kings Lane. Woot!

6. Also on OKL is this polka-dotted ceramic water pitcher - perfect for ladies’ brunches.

I wish you a fantastic weekend!
