1. After years of eating overly sweetened and chemically enhanced protein and granola bars, I finally decided to give Larabar a try. I bought a box of the peanut butter cookie bars, which are made with only three ingredients: dates, peanuts and sea salt. Score! The box cost about $5.50 at Target for five bars. Each bar contains 4g of fiber, 7g of protein and zero crickets. At just over a dollar per bar, this is truly a great find. Try them!
2. Chia seed pudding recipes have been all over the place lately, including this strawberry-rhubarb version by Kitchen Konfidence. As I understand, there’s some contention as to whether to add Greek yogurt or heavy cream to thicken it. Have you made any yet?
3. One Kings Lane is having a French-inspired table sale this week and being the predictable gal that I am, I absolutely adore it. Check out this charming Bistro de Paris set.
4. As well as this glass cheese dome - the perfect accessory for an at-home brunch.
5. I came across Stromae’s new album on YouTube last night and fell completely in love. Part hip-hop, part electronic and part instrumental, it’s just perfect. And the videos are so unique and interesting, too. If this genre is up your alley, check out Tous Les Mêmes, Papaoutai and Ave Cesaria.
6. Saveur released their 2014 Best Food Blog Awards winners Couldn’t help but notice that one blog in particular is missing but hey, maybe next year. What are your favorite food blogs? I’m always looking for new sites to follow.
Until next week!
