Hello, readers! I am back from my glorious 10-day stay in Paris.
My first trip to Paris was actually over two years ago when I was taking a class there over the summer with one of my best friends. Not a day has gone by since my return that I didn’t dream about going back. Alas, an opportunity presented itself when my cousin Marina invited me to come visit her in Paris, where she lives with her son and French husband. Since I graduated college last month and have not settled into a full-time adult life yet, the timing was perfect for a carefree rendez-vous. Whereas my first trip was about meeting new people, partying and making memories, this time I really wanted to relax – to forget about the grueling job application process, to remind myself why I love Paris so much, and reconnect with my cousin whom I haven’t seen in more years than either of us cares to count.
Needless to say, the trip was perfect. And in spite of my efforts to slow down time whilst sitting in cafes, drinking wine, and appreciating every little thing around me, my vacation flew by. Here are some of the photos I took…
Stay tuned for a “Guide to visiting Paris” post later this week!

I literally throw everything in there – fruits, vegetables, herbs, nuts and even flax oil on particularly adventurous days. Tip: freeze smoothie ingredients before blending to eliminate need for ice, and always serve smoothies in a chilled glass. [...]
