Paris Was Ours, edited by Penelope Rowlands, was released about a month ago. I read a blurb about it in ELLE magazine and knew I had to get for Sofya (her birthday was coming up), with whom I traveled to Paris last summer. I was gonna skim it and give it to her early but I couldn’t put it down! Thankfully I had a few weeks before her actual birthday to read the whole thing.
The book contains 32 stories by great writers, like Davids Sedaris and Lebovitz, about their experiences in The City of Light. Some of the stories were funny, some sad, but all were nostalgic and poignant.
I recommend it to Paris fanatics everywhere!
